In order to avoid the influence of changes in the name of the department under the government reorganization, RRA decided to apply the permanent identification mark. According to RRA, the enforcement date is not decided yet. But it is believed that the date should be mid of Dec 2017. Please noted that the information contained below is for reference only, and the detail of the standard modification shall follow the announcement of RRA.

The changes of the standard modifications are as below,

1.     MSIP will be changed R(Radio Act)

Besides the alphabetic words, numeric numbers and Hyphen (-), the underscore (_) can also be used in product ID. Before this change, only Hyphen (-) can be issued.

2.     Changing of Conformity Letter form.

The external photos shall be attached in the form.

3.  The tested frequency bands of Radio-Frequency Electromagnetic Field (KN61000-4-3) on KN 301489 will be changed as below.

- KN 61000-6-2 & KN 61000-6-1 : 80MHz~1000MHz and 1.4 GHz~2.7 GHz

 => 80MHz~1000MHz and 1.4 GHz~6.0 GHz

-KN 301489-1 : 80MHz~1000MHz and 1.4 GHz~2.7 GHz => 80MHz~6.0 GHz

Note

1.     The equipment that has been certified or received at the time of new standard enforcement, the old rule shall be followed.

2.     After issue the final standard, all certificates (except permissive change) would be followed new rule. (issued certificate started ???. However, regarding Label marking, it can be use both types (MSIP, R) till the middle of Next year(2018/06/30). (based on customs clearance date)
